A Passion for Good Design

When I was ten, my mother, a former sign painter and eternal artist, taught me to identify good design. Of course, the burden of that knowledge was that I also learned to identify poor design. And boy was it everywhere from billboards to websites. Being a voice of clarity and elegance in a world of crowded signage and poor formatting became something of a crusade. Though my career has carved its path through numerous fields, design has always driven me.

In fourth grade, I produced my first oil painting. In high school, I took notes in calligraphy. In college, I made beautiful presentations. As a teacher, I designed engaging and easy to follow worksheets. And as a marketing specialist, creating engaging content is my job. No matter where life has taken me, I have designed with clarity and elegance.
